Travel information:
Please arrive at lease by Oct 21st or earlier
Arrival:
We recommend flying into Bangkok (BKK) at least a day early. Please arrive no later than the night of Oct 21st. There are many adventurous thing to do in Bangkok that we can suggest so perhaps come in 2-5 days early. Our flight to Bhutan is early morning on Oct 22nd.
Bangkok Accommodation Recommendations 🏨
If you need a place to stay before or after the retreat, here are two convenient options:

Hyatt Regency Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel: A convenient option located right at the airport
Eastin Thana City Golf Bangkok Hotel: Colleen is staying here before the retreat starts. It’s about 10 mn, but 20–30 minutes with traffic outside of the city center, offering a quieter atmosphere. It includes a 25-meter salt lap pool, fitness center and breakfast but it is not near the City Center. The Superior rooms are $50 a night. Find more information here
Departure:
We will be returning to Bangkok on Nov 1st. Please do not book your return flights until late on Nov 1st or 2nd. We recommend staying in the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel if you need accommodations before and after the retreat.
Flight between Bangkok and Paro:
The flight between Bangkok and Paro, Bhutan will be booked (at a group rate) by our Bhutanese guides and you will pay them directly for this flight ($900-$990 determined at a later date). The ticket will be emailed to you after purchase. Make sure you bring the email and a copy.
Passport and Visa:
For citizens of Canada and the United States – You will need your passport and it must be valid 6 months beyond your travel. It also must have 2 blank facing pages. You will need a tourist visa to enter Bhutan. We will arrange the visas for the group and send you a copy. This copy must be brought with you when you check in for your flight to Bhutan and at immigration in Bhutan.

Women’s Quest Cancellation & Travel Insurance Policy
Cancellation Policy
Because our vendors and partners require advance commitments we must adhere to the following cancellation terms. If you have to cance your retreat
• 91 or more days before the retreat start date
You will receive a refund of all payments minus your deposit which is non-refundable.
• 90 days or fewer before the retreat start date
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Women’s Quest reserves the right to cancel a retreat due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, all retreat payments will be refunded. However, Women’s Quest is not responsible for any additional expenses you may have incurred, including (but not limited to) airfare, lodging, or other travel costs.
Travel Insurance
To protect your investment, Women’s Quest strongly recommneds all participants purchase travel insurance. This ensures you are covered if something unexpected arises before or during your retreat.
Travel insurance is especially important if you need to cancel or interrupt your trip due to:
• Illness or injury (including testing positive for COVID-19)
• Family or personal emergencies
• Travel delays or interruptions
• Medical treatment while traveling
• Emergency evacuation or trip interruption
We recommend a policy that includes coverage for:
• Trip cancellation and interruption
• Medical expenses
• Emergency evacuation
For maximum peace of mind, consider a “Cancel For Any Reason” (CFAR) policy. While more expensive, this option offers the greatest flexibility if your plans change.
For all trips to Iceland involving horses (riding or otherwise), it is mandatory you secure travel insurnce that includes coverage for emergency evacuation and return to your home country.
