DAILY ITINERARY

IGNITE YOUR SPIRIT ON THE WOMEN’S QUEST VANCOUVER ADVENTURE RETREAT!
Join us from June 22-27th, 2025, for an exhilarating and empowering journey through the stunning landscapes of Vancouver and Whistler. Our meticulously curated itinerary ensures every moment is filled with excitement, camaraderie, and self-discovery.

JUNE 21 – ONE DAY EARLY ARRIVAL

Arrive a day early and immerse yourself in the charm of Vancouver at the Granville Island Hotel or another hotel (please contact us if you would like to stay at the Granville Island Hotel as we get a discounted rate). Take in the picturesque surroundings and unwind, preparing for the adventure that awaits. Lodging not-included.  If you are around meet at 5:00 at Dockside for informal happy hour…


SUNDAY, JUNE 22 – VANCOUVER DAY

  • 9:00 AM – Meet at the Granville Island Hotel and gear up for a cycling adventure through downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park with a knowledgeable local historian guide.  This is a gentle flat Sunday morning ride on cruiser bikes – We have our wonderful local guide Luke that will tell us some history and other facts about Vancouver
  • 12:30 PM – Recharge at a downtown gem with a healthy lunch at the Cactus club overlooking English Bay.
  • 2:00 PM –  Return to hotel and some free town to maybe buy some snack st the Granville Market
  • 3:45  Meet in the lobby and walk to Alder Bay – 5 min.  Experience the thrill of paddling the Dragon Boat through Vancouver’s False Creek.
  • 6:00 PM – Take out Dinner from GO FISH – a well known delicious fresh fish off the dock kiosk but we will be eating in front of the market enjoying the scenery.  Introductions and go over itinerary for tomorrow – choose your hiking group – early (hard) or later (easier hike)
  • 8:00 – head to bed as early morning – make sure you have packed up – pick ribbons on luggage.   Pack a day pack with water, raincoat, layers and snacks.  Wear hiking boots, shorts or hiking pants, t shirt and wool long sleeve.  Hat, sunscreen and insect spray.

MONDAY, JUNE 23 – SEA TO SKY HIKES – SQUAMISH – Choose between a challenging Sea to Summit Hike or take the sky tram to the summit for loops hikes and breathtaking views. 

  • 6:00 AM – Early hike – Rise and shine for a day of adventure.
  • 6:30 AM – leave  – have your luggage down –  and daypaks with you – we pick up breakfast on the way
  • 7:00 AM – Later hike – Rise and shine
  • 7:30 AM – leave – luggage down – day packs with you
  • 8:00 AM – Choose between a challenging Sea to Sky Hike or take the sky tram to the summit for breathtaking views. 
  • 2:00 PM – Indulge in a late lunch at Sky Pilot Eatery with amazing views.
  • 4:00 PM – Check into the Summit Boutique Hotel and enjoy dinner in the vibrant Whistler Village.
  • 6:30 PM.  Dinner at Brickworks – well deserved!!

TUESDAY, JUNE 24 – WHISTLER MOUNTAIN BIKING. Choose your pace with a Mountain Bike Adventure, offering two groups for both leisurely riders and those seeking an advanced, challenging trail.

  • 7:00 AM – Recharge with a morning yoga session.
  • 8:00 AM  Breakfast at Caffe Artigiano – Just tell them you are from Women’s Quest and you don’t have to pay
  • 9:00 AM – meet and walk to our rental place…  3 groups – Double suspension (harder), Hardtail and E bikes – easier
  • 1:30 PM – Enjoy at our turnaround point (Groups have gone different trails but we end at a delicious lunch spot. – Table 19 overlooking the lake
  • Ride home ½ hour.
  • Free afternoon.
  • Dinner on your own – Delve into the unique charms of Whistler.

 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25 WHISTLER – CANOE RIVER OF GOLDEN DREAMS – HIKE AND SWIM AFTERNOON

  • 7:00 AM – Start the day with invigorating yoga.
  • 9:00 AM – Canoe one of the most beautiful rivers and lakes ever. Begin with a lake paddle and move into the River of Golden Dreams – and it is!!
  • 12:00 PM – off the river
  • 1:00 PM – Lunch on your own and Free Afternoon OR
  • Easy hike around the lake by our hotel with swimming – where only the locals go…
  • 6:30 PM  – Dinner at a local pub
  • 7:30 PM – YES!! AXE THROWING. We should all know how to throw an axe, and you will learn right here.

THURSDAY, JUNE 26 – ALL DAY HIKE AND GOURMET PICNIC LUNCH

  • 7:00 AM – Begin your day with centering yoga.
  • 8:00 AM – Pack for the day – Breakfast at Forcast Bakery  – where we will also get our yummy lunches
  • 9:00 AM – Hike the Riverside trail to Logger Lake to Crater Rim
  • 3:00 PM – Return to the hotel, rejuvenated and ready for an evening of relaxation.
  • 7:00 PM – Delight in a well-deserved dinner – Nika Lodge overlooking the lake.
  • Closing ceremony.

FRIDAY, JUNE 27 – CHECK OUT AND HEAD FOR AIRPORT

  • 7:00 AM – Conclude your retreat with a revitalizing yoga session.
  • 9:00 AM – Check out and head for the airport, ensuring a stress-free departure after 2 pm.
