The staff is an inspiring and spirited group of women!!! You will have the chance to play with women who are both phenomenal athletes and articulate teachers. You will receive cutting-edge instruction with heartfelt support and encouragement. The high staff-to-camper ratio allows opportunity for individual guidance, safe supervision of all activities, and personal attention to your feelings and needs. We organize the groups to accommodate all fitness levels and levels of experience. Don’t worry, if you have not done much hiking, or your first experience with yoga, we LOVE to introduce the JOYS of these activities!

Christina Russell was born in Montreal Canada and grew up in New England where she cultivated her love of the outdoors. She started Alpine skiing in 1970 and in 1987 began her passion for telemark and nordic skiing. She completed an Outdoor Educators course with the National Outdoor Leadership School and did a one year outdoor leadership program with Greenfield Community College in 1987. In 1990, she moved to Colorado. Christina has lead groups with the Boulder Adventure program as well as the CU outdoor program. She began her journey with Women’s Quest in 1996. Over the years, she has been on staff teaching nordic skiing, mountain biking, belly dancing, Zumba and giving massage in Winter Park and Vermont.

Christina’s massage experience began in 1991. She attended the Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood. In 1996, she began working at Alpine Physical Therapy, which became Howard Head Sports Medicine before closing their location in Fraser, Colorado in Fall 2012. Since then, Christina has turned her full attention to expanding her private practive for massage in Winter Park, CO and teaching Phenomenal Touch™ Massage. Currently she is a Phenomenal Touch™ Massage Instructor and Master Practitioner. She enjoys teaching Nordic skiing, mountain biking, Zumba, belly dancing, and other fitness classes.

Her massage technique provides a 3 dimensional integrative approach with techniques in Phenomenal Touch™, neuromuscular therapy, compassionate deep tissue, passive stretching, Swedish, reflexology and myofascial release, and essential oils.

 

 

Sydney Doolittle

Sydney’s passion for the outdoors began in New England and led her to the majestic mountains of the West. She landed in Jackson, WY in 2014 while working for a guiding company in Yellowstone and the Tetons. She loved the area so much that she moved here full time! She currently lives in Victor, Idaho with her husband and two year old son, Bodhi.

Sydney works as a Personal Trainer and group Fitness Instructor and brings a wealth of knowledge in Yoga and Ayurveda. She offers a holistic approach to wellbeing with her 500 hours of yoga training and Ayurvedic Practitioner certification through the California College of Ayurveda. This is Sydney’s third magical Women’s Quest trip in the Tetons, and she is absolutely delighted to be working alongside Colleen and this inspiring group of women once again!

Jenna Barnes

 

Prepare your taste buds for a treat! Jenna Barnes is our incredibly talented organic chef, bringing a deep passion for quality ingredients and wildcrafted plants. With years spent working on organic farms and studying Herbalism, Jenna creates “kitchen magic” – nourishing, healing, and energizing farm-to-table meals that connect us to nature and the local landscape. Her culinary creations are infused with flavors and knowledge gathered from her travels, ensuring each meal is a delightful and purposeful experience.

 

Amma (Amanda Terry)

Joining Jenna in the kitchen is the wonderful Amma . Amma is a true nature lover with a profound desire to help others discover a more aligned and harmonious way of living. With a background in fitness Amma began a deep dive into Ayurveda as a health counselor since 2009, Amma believes in a multifaceted approach to wellness. Her journey has taken her to India to study Tantra Yoga and the birthplace of Ayurveda in Kerala, where she expanded her skills in Ayurvedic health counseling, massage, and cooking.

Amma’s philosophy centers around the power of presence, slowing down, and creating meaningful rituals. She believes we all deserve to live a symptom-free life and brings a unique blend of anatomy-based yoga, Ayurveda, breathwork, and deep relaxation to her practice. Amma loves to share her passion for nature aligned living, and can be found at Rooted In Love, her Ayurvedic bed and breakfast located in the Osa Peninsula, sharing Ayurvedic practices to live more embodied and in a harmonious connection with nature.
