Eventually she made her way west to Vancouver where she took her first massage training course in 1998 and found her calling. In 1999 she also completed her first yoga teacher training and started teaching and doing massage full time. In 2000 she moved to Hawaii to further her massage therapy studies and became a licensed massage therapist in Hawaii. Since then she has done numerous training in modalities  such as Lomi Lomi,Shiatsu, Hot stones massage, Neuromuscular massage,Ashiatsu and Cupping. She also completed many yoga teacher trainings including, Sivananda, Astanga, and Iyengar styles.
The combination of all her studies in both yoga and massage helped her to create her own unique style of massage that focuses on the flow of energy, and the releasing of blocks through muscular manipulation, active stretching, and relaxation with the breath to ease physical and emotional pain stored in the body.
Michelle is also an avid surfer, hiker, vball player and pickleballer! Her knowledge of body mechanics combined with her experience as an athlete and a yogi helped her to create a full body, deep tissue, relaxation massage suited to individual needs and injuries.
Michelle continues to practice massage in her home town of Kona and is also available for private yoga sessions.  She loves to travel and enjoy life and thrives on meeting new people and helping them along on their journeys.
