Welcome to Iceland Multisport “Total Immersion” Adventure Retreat

Today’s Adventures Include:

Thingvellir National Park: Begin our day at this UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its historical, cultural, and geological significance. The park is shaped by the constant movement of the North American and Eurasian plates, creating stunning geological features.

Gullfoss Waterfall: Witness the breathtaking Gullfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most famous natural wonders. It originates from the Hvítá river, flowing from the Langjökull glacier, and plunges into a deep crevasse that stretches for 2.5 kilometers. Prepare to be amazed by its beauty.

Geysir: Visit the Great Geysir, a natural hot springs geyser that shoots water high into the Icelandic sky. Geysir has been active for an estimated 10,000 years, and its eruptions are influenced by the region’s frequent earthquakes, which impact the geyser’s height and pressure.

Lunch at Friðheimar Tomato Farm: Enjoy a delightful lunch at Friðheimar, a working farm known for year-round tomato production in its vast greenhouses. These greenhouses use geothermal energy for lighting, allowing tomato cultivation even during Iceland’s long and dark winters. You’ll be amazed by the fresh produce they provide.
