With all your clothing- the general idea is to choose quick-drying lightweight materials
Here are some recommended items to bring with you. Bring clothes for our daily activities as well as down/free time
- Day Pack (21L-35L) * Small crush-down daypack for hiking or camelback type of hydration pack (we will be taking it for one overnight on Exploits Island)
- BUG SPRAY!
- Sandals (for kicking around town and maybe kayaking)
- Trail shoes/running shoes with tread, and change of socks for walking on trails
- Rain Jacket (Lightweight, WATERPROOF, Breathable),
- Reusable Water Bottles (Two 1-Quart) or Hydration System
- Yoga mat – optional
- Sleepwear
- Comfortable paddling pants/shorts for kayaking
- long-sleeve rash guard to protect from sun while kayaking
- A nice outfit for a few dinners if you would like (but anything is allowed)
- 2 tank tops & 2 t-shirts
- Hiking Shorts/Pants (Longer, Quick-Dry, Lightweight)
- 2 Lightweight long-sleeve sweater or jacket for cooler evenings
- Warm jacket and gloves
- Toque (that is Canadian for wool hat)
- Sun cap/hat, which can be secured on your head if windy
- Polarized sunglasses with strap
- Sunscreen and lip balm, use sunscreen/zinc reef safe. We will have a couple of big bottles of good local sunscreen so you don’t need to bring it unless you have sensitive skin
- Ear Plugs
- Headlamp
- Energy Snacks and Drink Mixes
- Camera and Accessories
- Motion Sickness Remedies – for our fishing trip and the boat trip to Exploits
- Toiletries – shampoo, moisturizer, soap, toothpaste, brush
- Medications, antiseptic crème, band-aids, pain relief tablets, sun-burn cream
- Camera/ phone
- Reading and writing materials
Travel documents
- International Airline Tickets (Confirmation and Itinerary)
- ATM card – or maybe 2 different ones
- Your Passport!! It is CANADA but we are a different country.
- Bring Vaccination card just in case
