We will join together to explore and expand ourselves in a pressure-free, non-competitive environment in Newfoundland. Each day we will enjoy being in the beauty of nature and love experiencing true Canadian hospitality. Our journey will travel across the province and into the North for incredible adventures.

What to Expect at the Newfoundland Adventure Retreat
We begin our retreat with an afternoon of sightseeing in the quaint little city of St. John’s. The next few days we will explore the area of St. John’s before moving to our next destination of Exploits Island. After spending a night in the Lighthouse Inn, we will progress to our last home in Rocky Harbour on the West Coast of Newfoundland.
Highlights:
- 6 nights – 2 nights in B&B in St. John’s , 2 nights in the light keeper’s house, and 2 nights in a Bed and Breakfast in Woody Point
- Private Tour St John’s and Exploits Island
- Hikes around Eastern, Northern and Western Newfoundland
- Philanthropic project – Painting the rooms of the Iris Kirby House (a women’s shelter)
- Transportation throughout the retreat
- Lifelong friendships and memorable experiences
- Screech – in Ceremony and really getting to know the Newfoundlanders
Included in the Price:
- Lodging for 6 nights
- Delicious homemade food at most meals with sack lunches for our hikes.
- Professional guides each day
- Tour of Exploits Island and St. John’s
- Hiking Gros Morne National Park

- Fishing and Whale watching
- Cooking class on the pier – our freshly caught cod
What is NOT Included in the Price:
- Airfare to St. John’s (YYT) and from Deer Lake (YDF)
- Transportation from YYT to Rose Heritage House, St. John’s
- WQ shuttle from Woody Point to YDF ($50)
- One dinner in St. John’s, one lunch in Deer Lake
- Suggested donation to Iris Kirby women’s shelter $30
- Travel insurance – required
- All personal expenses (e.g., shopping, laundry, telephone)
- Suggested Tips for guides/drivers ($10 day)
