Colleen Cannon

 

Colleen founded Women’s Quest after a highly successful career as a professional triathlete. In her racing days, she was World Champion in 1984, and National Champion in 1988 and 1990. She also was a multiple U.S. National team member.

Her passions, besides chocolate and being in nature, are liberating and empowering women through movement and balance, and targeting their true “hearts’ desire.” “Colleen continues to EVOLVE adventures for Women’s Quest, delighting in ways to ENCHANT women with the experiences that coax happiness grown from joyful physical experiences.”

Gaby Meneses

We are so lucky to be able to include the guiding services of Gaby, one ofthe best peruvian guides in the Cusco area!  Gaby will be introducing you to the major archeological sites of the area including Machu Picchu, leading you on one of her favorite mountain hikes in the Sacred Valley, sharing local culture and customs with the group and bringing some of her talented peruvian friends together to share their special healing ceremonies. Gaby is fluent in both Spanish and English and also has many other talents you will be discovering during the trip.

Jorge Castro Huaman

Jorge with his sweet and gentle nature will be accompanying assisting and supporting us throughout the entire 10 days of our trip and also guiding us in his home town, the high mountain village of Chinchero. Jorge studied tourism in Cusco and is starting his career as a professional licensed tour guide. He has accompanied and supported Jude with several other groups in Peru. His mother Sonya is an expert and respected weaver in their village and she along with the rest of his family will invite us into their home for a weaving demonstration and special last day lunch feast. Jorge is learning both English and French and is very much looking forward to practicing his english with the
group.

Quintin

Quintin has been walking up into the Pisac ruins and guiding tourists there right out of his backdoor every day since he was a youngster. He will be sharing and guiding us through his hometown ruins of Pisac, the most extensive site in terms of size that we will be visiting during our trip. He will share the history and sacred energy of Pisac with the group including guiding us in a special ceremony high in the ruins. There is no better person to guide us in Pisac than Quintin!

Other Contributors:

Some of the other local people who will share their special talent with the group include: Doris, a gifted coco-leaf reader whose readings will be available to group members; Omar and Gladys two talented and respected local musicians who specialize in both original and traditional folk music of the area will play a private concert for us; Heber Almomacid, a musician and sound healer will create a special ceremony for us using traditional instruments; Ninoska, a gifted healer who incorporates movement into her work and will offer a special ritual for the group in Moray; Doña Florecia Chanpi, from the traditional village of Paucartambo will do a despacho, a traditional earth offering and fire ceremony for our group to guide our journey home; and all of the other gracious hotel and kitchen staff, cooks and drivers who will support our group.
